29 Chapters OF RUSSELL's Amazing Life!

RUSSELL EBERT's - Geez Its Been Worth It

The book has 29 chapters jam packed into it, beginning with Russell's high school days and progressing through his incredible playing career, the coaching years, a whole chapter on his sacking and, of course, chapters on his community work and fundraising. To complete the picture, each of Russell's children has written a chapter on their magnificent dad. Also, his great mate Max James has shared his fondest memories of their time together, and Dian, Russell's wife, has also contributed a chapter on their marriage, going into depth on how they met and how day-to-day life was together.

About

Our Story

Albert Ebert was inspired through the love of autobiographies, to write a book on his special grandpa. He went to work interviewing Russell, but as it was late into his grandfather's sickness, only a handful of interviews occurred. With everything thought lost, the family rediscovered Russell's diaries from his coaching days and combined them with a heap of information collected over the years. Russell thought books written on oneself were an ego trip, but with Albert’s passion and desire to learn more about his legendary Pa, Russ was only too happy to show him the same enthusiasm. The photo was taken in 2015 at the Adelaide Oval statue unveiling.
